Chiaroscuro as a foundation for contemporary style.

It is always very important to know the rules so you can break them. Ride the line of language and chaos to form your own style. Bring your energy and ability to balance in order to fulfill the intention.

I was asked today to share some very academic work based on the drawing theory of Chiaroscuro. The play of light and dark.

These pieces are from classes that drastically changed my approach to art. How I see the world. And how I have made every pieces since then.

My personal style does not reek of academic rendering, more of a love for line and appreciation for that energy. Every lesson is valuable in your own Practice.
